Travels in December 2005. For a long time I have wanted to visit the USA. At the beginning of the month the opportunity arose to go to Calfornia for christmas and new year. I’m not sure what my expectations were - knowing about another country is not necessarily a preparation for the reality. The place is huge ! the sheer size of the country began to dawn on me during the flight looking down on incredible mountain ranges. These pictures were taken from the top of Mount Tamalpais. Click on the images to view larger version. Driving here was an experience in itself, travelling through amazing redwoods with deer grazing at the road side.
