The Month of Enchantment ?
I revisited places where I had previously seen that silent state of enchantment.

A road I regularly drive along, can suddenly surprise with the appearance of a delicate haze of green coming from the wild hawthorn hedges, but not this year.
There is a rolling field, which is usually ploughed and is an amazing sight with the February sun reflecting light off turned clay, but not this year. It has been left untouched, perhaps part of "set-aside-farming" or maybe destined for the building of more housing.

While busy in my own garden I came face to face with one of its little residents. He followed me around keeping a watchful eye on soil I raked and came into the greenhouse looking for delights revealed by moved pots.
I realised on reflection, that the silent state of anticipation and enchantment, is perhaps what the minds eye brings to what is being viewed. I certainly saw it in the eye of my little companion.
