I took my camera for a walk along the canal, to
record some of the changes taking place. One side of the canal used to
be just scrubland. On the other side were factory buildings established
in the 19th century.
The preserved old Mill house
and new houses on the opposite bank.
Some of the new development is quite pleasing to the eye.
And it also appears that more people enjoy using the towpath to go for their
Sunday walks. The picture below links to a slideshow of further views of
the canal-side development.
