Night Sky Chat Night time sky The night time sky is of constant interest. The first time I saw a shooting star and made a wish was just magic. The identification of anything but the most obvious features, I still have to grapple with. I think I`ve taken pictures of the moon and a planet, but I`m not sure. Moon in January with one of the planets ? The full moon has been of significance in my life. Two of my grand-children were born with a beautiful full moon high in the sky. In January 2002 the full moon appeared in late afternoon and was visible throughout the night. The next morning my youngest grand daughter was born. Moon in January with planets or stars ?
